Your contribution to Alief Montessori Community School (AMCS) provides an opportunity for children ages 3-10 to receive an exemplary education. As a public charter school, we are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Therefore, your donation is 100% tax deductable. About 65% of our students are economically disadvantaged and eligible under the free and/or reduced lunch program. With our commitment to the Montessori approach and our high academic expectations, our students continue to earn commendable performance based on TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) results and other local benchmark tests. With your help, AMCS will be able to extend its effective education program for more underprivileged families in Houston. |

Student Organizations As part of our after school program, AMCS teachers initiate the organization of academic and/or sports clubs where students can participate according to their field of interest. |
Cultural Enrichment AMCS promotes arts and music education by engaging its students on different arts and music skills such as exposure to various visual art techniques and training on musical instruments. Students hold classroom and event performances, including participation in community festivals and other celebrations. |
General Donations General donation will be used for purchasing seeds or gardening equipments for outdoor lessons, book purchases for the library, food supply for class-pets…etc. |

Be An AMCS Sponsor Alief Montessori Community School invites businesses, companies and organizations to become a major sponsor of a facility in the school dedicated for academic achievement and cultural enrichment. Based on sponsorship level, you will be honored as founder with an acknowledgment plaque mounted on the wall next to the facility entrance or on a donor wall at the entrance of the principal’s office.
